HOW DO I JOIN?
Simple.  Just show up to one of our club meetings and register with Alex.  To join we currently require vaccination proof and masking indoors.

WHERE DOES THE CLUB MEET?
We meet at CSI which is located at 300 North Broadway Nyack, NY on Thursday nights from 7 pm to 9:30 pm.

ARE THERE MEMBERSHIP DUES?
Currently there is a membership fee to join the club.  Membership is $40/year and as a member you get a few benefits:

1. Reduced fees for any event or tournament we are hosting
2. Participation in the weekly game study
3. Having a great community to play games with every Thursday

ARE THERE STILL COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS?
No.

CURRENT ACTIVITIES AND PLAYING CHESS
We host a few activities during the week for members.

1. Thursday nights at 7pm we host a chess study at CSI where we discuss the positional play, tactic and beauty of a historic game. 
2. Thursday nights at 7pm we also host either tournament games or casual play.

1. The website - www.rocklandchess.org.  This site is currently not updated regularly.  It is mainly a starting off point 
2. Facebook - we update our Facebook page when there are activities.  Please search for Rockland County Chess Club on Facebook. 
3. Email - you will also be receiving emails with any news or updates

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE CLUB

• Whenever you can - bring a friend!!  Please spread the word and don't keep us a secret.
• We provide chess sets and chess clocks - but if you have a favorite set that you like to play on please bring it.​
